Robert E. Bartkus Selected For the Richard K. Jeydel Award
The Justice Marie L. Garibaldi American Inn of Court for Alternate Dispute Resolution has selected MARC’s Robert E. Bartkus for the Richard K. Jeydel Award.
Bob, of counsel at the Florham Park and New York City law firm, was chosen for his civility, professionalism, ethics, and excellence in and service to ADR.
The award, announced on Sept. 10, is given in memory of Richard K. Jeydel, a founding master of the Garibaldi Inn.
Bob concentrates on multiparty business and international arbitration and litigation.
His clients have included major U.S. financial institutions, foreign governments and trading companies, and Fortune 100 consumer goods, industrial, insurance/reinsurance, medical/dental device, pharmaceutical and chemical companies. He also has represented partnerships and closely held businesses.
Bob has served as sole arbitrator and panel member/chair in a wide range of American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Centre for Dispute Resolution and JAMS matters.
Bob, along with Hon. William A. Dreier, P.J.A.D. (Ret.), co-authored the New Jersey Arbitration Handbook, 2020 Edition.
Bob was selected in 2005-2010 and since 2012 for the New Jersey Super Lawyers© List. Bob has an AV Preeminent™ rating of 5 out of 5 from Martindale-Hubbell. Bob also is a fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators.
