MARC Law Hosts NJ LEEP Week to a Group of Newark High School Students
MARC Law is very proud to have once again conducted our annual NJ LEEP Week during the last week of July where we provided law related education sessions to a group of Newark high school students. Attorneys at the firm presented on topics ranging from employment to First Amendment law to provide students an overview of multiple practice areas.
The New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Project helps students graduate from high school, attend and graduate from competitive colleges and begin rewarding careers. Their College Bound Program serves first-generation and low-income students enrolled in grades 6-12 from more than 20 public, private, and charter schools across the greater Newark area. 100% of NJ LEEP program graduates have matriculated to college. 85% are currently enrolled or have graduated from college.
The High School Program uses comprehensive and intensive law-related and academic programming to help students identify meaningful goals and construct their own track record of success.
NJ LEEP graduates are enrolled in some of the top colleges and universities in the nation, including Harvard University, Pomona College, Boston College, University of Chicago, Georgetown, New York University, Smith, and Wellesley.
